Early Beginnings

Rory Daniel McIlroy MBE was born on May 4, 1989, in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland. He started playing golf at the age of two and quickly showed a natural talent for the game. By the age of 10, he was winning tournaments against much older players.

Professional Career

McIlroy turned professional in 2007 and quickly made a name for himself on the European Tour.
